Tafoya, Robert Lloyd "Bob", 71, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2008 in Kalispell, MT. Bob married Colleen Carlyle on September 25, 1959 and they raised thier family and lived in Garden Grove, CA. for 30 years before retiring. Prior to moving to Montana, Bob and Colleen lived in Highlands Ranch, CO. where Bob worked for Colorado Division of Fish and Wildlife. Bob served the Los Angeles Police Department for 20 years before retiring as a Detective III with the LAPD. Bob also worked for the Los Angeles Superior Courts for 10 years as a juvenile "traffic referee". Bob is survived by his wife, Colleen Tafoya, of Kalispell, MT; his three sons, Daniel Tafoya and wife Shirley, and their two children, Cameron and Ruby of Tustin, CA.; Jeff Tafoya and his four children, Alan, Jeffery, Jessica, and Grant of Kalispell MT. Bob is also survived by one sister, Dolores Nicola and husband Nick, of Nampa Idaho; one brother, David Tafoya, and wife Jody of Seal Beach, CA; also two nephews and three nieces.
