After graduation from high school, I went to U.S.C. and graduated in June of 1960. I majored in dental hygiene and minored in voice. I met my husband, Jay, at U.S.C. where he was a dental student. We were married on August 12, 1961. After his graduation in 1962, he entered the Air Force and we lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for two years. He served as a dentist at Kirtland Air Force Base. We started his private dental practice in Fullerton, CA when he was discharged in July of 1964....

We worked together (I was his dental hygienist) for about 33 years until we retired in 1997. Jay and I have enjoyed retirement very much. We've had a mountain home at Crestline, in the San Bernardino Mountains, since 1972 and now we can go there frequently. We like to do wood craft work, gardening and computer projects. We're looking forward to traveling in the future....

I've kept active with my singing and solo work over the years. I've been with the same chorus for about 35 years. It's something I really enjoy and it's a large part of my life just as it was when I was at South Gate High School.....
