     How do you sum up 45 years in a small space??  You don’t, but the pictures kind of say it all!  Most of us look like we have survived the ups and downs life dishes out and we are still doing our best to keep going…
       I have been married 3 times and the picture of my husband and me was taken in 1986 when we were married… It was the best thing I ever did marrying Paul… I worked at the regional office in Newport Beach, California and that is when I met Paul… I married Paul and one week later he was transferred to Arizona to run all the Target Stores in Arizona… Sooooo I went too… We have been in Scottsdale for 15 years now and its home; but it was a big adjustment… The summers are long and HOT but we survive…. Thank God for air conditioning!  I can honestly say that my life has been really good since I married the right man… These last 16 years have been the best years of my life… I have one daughter and no grandchildren…

   My husband and I have gone back to college every semester since he retired. We feel it's keeping our brains working plus we enjoy taking classes because we want to; not because we have to! I urge anyone to go back to school even if you have your degree you'll be surprised at how things have changed and we enjoy being around young people with new thoughts and ideas. It's also a good idea to keep an open mind because the guy sitting next to you probably wears earrings and has a pierced something or other; and most of the girls have tattoos!
