Memories of South Gate High School remain constant, even in my aging process. It really defines "the good old days" or at least that is what I think. Visiting southgatehigh.com only embellished those memories and made me homesick for that time. If you remember me, then probably I remember you.

Here's what I've been up to - in how many years ?

Got into the grocery business during and after high school. Became a manager and then supervisor at a very young age. In my 30's I switched careers and went into sales. As a VP and sales manager of a butcher supply company, I vested 31 years before retiring at age 62.

I served my country and was part of the military for 9 years.

Married and a widower after 41 years of marriage, I fell in love with Susan and we have shared our lives for 5 years. We live in La Mirada California, but spend as much time as possible at our mountain home in Lake Arrowhead.

Together we have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

I am a avid gardener and growing flowers is my passion. I also like woodworking, creating unique birdhouses and most recently miniatures. There's more about my miniatures and handy work on my blog http://birdhousebob.blogspot.com/ My current mode of transportation is a Shay model A.
