Graduated from Los Angeles Harbor Community College with an A.A. Degree, majoring in Business Administration. Received a Certificate in Food Distribution from U.S.C. Received a B.S. Degree in Marketing/Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. Received a Part Time/Life Time Community College Teaching Credential from the State of California. Taught as a part time instructor at Mount San Antonio Community College and at Woodland Community College.

Work experience has been in Sales and Sales Management in the Food Distribution Industry. Worked for Certified Grocers of Los Angeles as a Marketing Research Assistant. Was in Sales for Continental Baking Company, Carnation Company, M&M/Mars, Inc. and Elgaaen-Booth & Company. In Sales Management for Scott’s Liquid Gold, Inc. and Lucky Country, Inc. Self employed for 20 years as a rebagger of nuts, candy, chocolates and trail mixes.

Served on the Board of Directors for Habitant For Humanity, Yolo County. Served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for abused and neglected children in Yolo County.

Father of 3 sons and currently married to Jane.
