I helped my parents run their welding equipment business for 15 years, then bought and ran it for another 10 years. I sold the business just in time to get my real estate license and waste a whole lot of money and three years of my life.

 We also founded Central Coast Wildlife Rehabilitation Guild in 1985, which is still going strong and now called Pacific Wildlife Care.

 I work in the accounting department of a small beach-town community services district, and am an online student at Strayer University with a 3.4 GPA.

 Chuck and I have two grown and married daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. We own a ranch in the canyon between Atascadero and Morro Bay where we care for a miniature horse, an angora goat, a colony of mostly neutered feral cats, seven spoiled house cats and a screech owl, and usually a couple of grandkids. We had a mother fox raise her babies in one of the large drain pipes, and Chuck had a wild turkey adopt him as "daddy" for several months.

 We're amateur weather-spotters for the NWS, and are occasional backyard astronomers......
