was born in Fallbrook in 1938 at my grandmothers’ home… We moved to
South Gate in 1948, where I started the fifth grade at Bryson. We lived
on Annetta just west of the park...
My
mother and father started their own business in 1936 on 92nd
street near Southern Ave… It is called “Edey Door Mfg”. They both
spent their lives working hard up into their eighties… I have spent my
entire life working with my mom and dad until they passed on, and Edey
Door Mfg. Lives on… I have no plans at this time to retire…
My
first marriage was for 26 years and we had two children, one daughter
and one son… I have just been blessed with my first grandchild, 18
months ago… My son and daughter now live in Washington, so I don’t
get to see them as much as I would like…
Today
I am married to Doris Greathead, going on 15 years…. We love to travel
together… My goal today is to do more traveling…
